Wock-Oliver's Reverse osmosis separation technology is used to remove dissolved impurities from water through the use of a semi-permeable membrane. It is also one of the methods used to desalinate seawater. Reverse osmosis is used to purify liquids in which water is an undesirable impurity (e.g., ethanol). Municipalities and industrial facilities can use RO permeate as a consistently pure drinking water supply and to transform drinking water to high purity water for industrial use at microelectronics, food and beverage, power, and pharmaceutical facilities. The technology is also very effective at removing bacteria, pyrogens, and organic contaminants. ADVANTAGES
Prevents scaling in boilers, cooling towers, kettles and coffee makers because sodium and potassium are removed
Improves taste odor and appearance
The tiny pores of semi permeable membrane are also restrictive to bacteria and disease-causing pathogens.
APPLICATIONS
Pretreatment for boilers
Various industrial units and domestic sectors where treated wastewater is intended for recycling purposes
